78th Four-Ball Championship
Thursday, August 15th, 2019 at Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford PA

The competition is 36 holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. The ball scored must be individually identifiable by the player who scored his ball for each hole when signing and returning your scorecard. The field consists of 36 teams. All teams will play from the Blue WPGA Tee Markers.

Practice: Practice rounds can be scheduled by contacting the golf shop at 814-623-8100. Tee Times are available at the discretion of the pro shop. The PGA Professional is Jim Woods. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player. Practice rounds will be $99.

Tee Markers: Play will be from the BLUE WPGA tee markers (Approximately 6,550 Yards). Yardages will be contingent on course conditions.

Transportation/Caddies: Automotive transportation is permitted for the competition and included in the entry fee. Players may bring their own caddies if they choose. Bedford Springs does not offer caddies.

Lodging On-Site: Bedford Springs is offering a competitor lodging rate of $189 including resort fees for the evening of Wednesday, August 14. Book by phone, dial 1-888-THE-OMNI and speak with a reservations agent or go online and book the reservation using this LINK. Competitor rates will be valid until the date of the championship, based on availability. Contestants are encouraged to make arrangements as soon as possible in order to ensure availability.

Food: The WPGA provides water on course, coffee & juices prior to the competition and lunch will be provided between rounds. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

Footwear: METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED. THE PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and ten minutes (4:10). The Pace of Play Policy can be found HERE.

Spectator Info: No spectator carts will be permitted for the competition without pre-approved ADA verification. Please contact the WPGA office for ADA guidelines. ADA carts are based on availability. Spectators may purchase lunches at their own expense. Directions to the club can be found on the Bedford Springs Resort website.
